What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website or application, allowing information to be retained from one visit to the next (for example, staying signed in).

Cookies used by PerioVoice AI

PerioVoice AI does not use any advertising cookies. Two categories of cookies are used:

  • Session cookie ("token") — stores an encrypted authentication token that keeps you signed in to your account. This cookie is technical, essential to the service's operation, and is therefore not subject to prior consent. It automatically expires after 30 days or upon sign-out.
  • Audience-measurement cookies (Google Analytics) — placed only if you clicked "Accept" on the banner shown on your first visit. They let us know how many people visit the site and which pages are viewed, in aggregate (IP address anonymized). No clinical or account data is ever transmitted to Google Analytics: only navigation information (page views, referral source) is measured. If you click "Reject" or make no choice, these cookies are never placed.

Local browser storage

Some display preferences or temporary data for the status currently being edited may be stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage), on your device only, to avoid losing your entries. Your choice regarding audience-measurement cookies is also stored there. This data is not transmitted to third parties.

Managing cookies

Since the session cookie is strictly necessary, it cannot be disabled without preventing you from signing in to your account. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings; you will then be signed out of the Application. To change your choice regarding Google Analytics, clear your browser's site data for perio-voice.com: the consent banner will appear again on your next visit.
